The Biblical Moses – salient lessons from the Man of God

One of the most interesting and fascinating stories with Great Lessons Learnt in life is the Biblical Moses and abana ba Israel! The dude lived and tasted the corridors of power, mixed with the echelons of power and authority, slept in the spacious villas of the wealthy! Like most of us, His real life though began at 40 when he made a decision which must have baffled not only the royal Egyptian family who had adopted him but the younger generation of young stars who believe in Madona adopting kids from Malawi ! He chose a life among the “slaves”! Lessons learnt! What we think is “enjoy” is temporally! Sinful pleasure is fleeting! Unrepentant sinners are on tread milling on very slippery ground! God knows what is best for you and I. Uncle Moses was not a great orator like Hitler or FTJ, (reminds me of Dr. Sondashi and LPM and their Legal minds and speeches ) but God availed Aaron as a spokesperson, the way George Chellah has been availed to HEMCS! Smile if you can! God endowed Uncle Moses with the miraculous power that proved that the Bally was Heavenly sent! Imagine the power in the walking stick, to swallow the anacondas and separate the Red Sea ! No jokes! God can fortify you and I. He can and will help us! His promises are trustworthy ! He will give us power beyond normal! Faith allows us to discern the ” convincing evidence of realities that are not seen”! Like Moses we all need to know and believe that God equips us for any assignment given! Joshua when being sworn in as Moses’ successor, Moses passed on the mantle peacefully the Zambian way, and told One Joshua, ” God is the one marching before you, and he will continue with you, do not be afraid or terrified”. Deut. 31.8. Stay well and be blessed! You can add more Lessons learnt! Lesa amipaale bonse
